The Vilnius City Cemetery Register opens the data of Antakalnis, Bernardinai, Buivydiškės, Karveliškės, Platiniškės, Rokantiškės, Saltoniškės, Saulės, Senosios Rasų, Sudervės and Varnės cemeteries to the public. The interactive map produced shows the boundaries, sectors (blocks), rows and formed graves of each of these cemeteries. This information allows the cemetery administrators to see the current situation of the cemeteries, to assess the occupancy of the territory and to digitize the archiving work.
The system, which is constantly updated, also makes it possible to find the grave of a loved one. By entering your name, the system will provide you with all the available information about the grave and its location, which can be accessed via detailed orthophoto images.
