Visioning workshop for the Didlaukis Academic Campus area

4 and 18 June “ID Vilnius invites the Didlaukis academic community (students, academics, teachers) and residents to the Didlaukis Academic Campus Territory Visioning Workshop.

During the interactive meetings, ideas will be proposed and an action plan will be developed for the greening of the green areas in the S. Stanevičiaus – Ateities street quarter, once Mykolas Romeris University opens its territory.

“Didlaukis Academic Campus has the potential to become the central axis of this part of Vilnius, where academia, business and residents meet. Normally, areas close to universities are highly valued.

Innovation companies and start-ups are springing up here. The success of cities is built on educated, open-minded people, many of whom study here. The academic campus is surrounded by beautiful nature. This is the uniqueness and value of this area, which we can increase by planning for change,” says Laura Kairienė, Chief Architect of Vilnius City.

4 June, 14-16. anyone interested in the area is invited to join an interactive walk. It will explore the local environment and identify the area’s assets and weaknesses, focusing on public spaces and green links. The walk will start at the central entrance of Mykolas Romeris University (Ateities str. 20, by the flags).

18 June 18- 8 pm. Workshops. After reflecting on the environment of the area explored during the walk, the participants will form ideas and an action plan for the vision of the Didlaukis Academic Campus.

Meeting place: the courtyard of the central entrance of Mykolas Romeris University (in case of rain, the workshop will take place in the foyer of the first floor of the University).
